I've been using V-Tec for several years and have to say I've finally found someone that is extremely trustworthy. I not only bring my two cars here but refer all my friends and associates to V-Tec. They also continue to use V-Tec. The owner Zia always takes care of all my cars and not only for issues I come in with but looks to see if there are any factory recalls or anything else I need. He always shows me the parts he replaces and explains why they have to be replaced. I highly recommend this shop if you want to be taken care of with someone of integrity. AND he takes AMEX!!

its very hard to find a good and smart mechanic that can fix your car right on the first time . this place is great! i've been using them for years and have brought my BMW in for a wide range of problems. they have always fixed the problem correct the first time and their prices are more than fair.

My '98 Honda randomly stopped running whenever it felt like it. The Honda dealership had it for 4 days but didn't even try to determine the problem. A tow truck driver recommended Vtech and towed my car to the shop. The car had an random electrical issue which can be difficult to solve. It took a while but the car was repaired about a 1 1/2 years ago and has not had another break down. A few months later, the car catalytic converter needed to be replaced and I saved @$300 by taking it to Vtec instead of the Honda dealership.

I own several European cars and have used Vtec-motor sports for my repairs over the last 10 years.
Vtec mechanics are very knowledgeable and reliable, I can always count on them to complete my work in a timely manner.
It is one of the only repair shops that I trust to work on my cars.

Simon is a Master Diagnostician! One of my neighbors had an Accord that three HONDA dealers could not diagnose and fix. I referred him to Simon who diagnosed and fixed it for a very reasonable cost.
We have a VTEC Civic and a VTEC Accord (zero to sixty in 6.6 and 8.0 seconds, respectively). I am very particular about performance, and Simon does a great job of keeping the cars in shape. He is honest about what needs to be done and when, and charges less than the same services at a dealership. I trust him completely. My only regret is that I didn't find V=TEC Motor Sports sooner than six years ago.
I recommend VTEC Motor Sports without any reservations.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS AUTO SHOP!!!
I took my car in yesterday at 12:00pm(afternoon) for a new steering rack and wheel alignment. First of all, instead of giving me a rental car, the owner had his weird dad give me a ride home! It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional, plus his dad drove like a maniac!! I called in this morning for a status update because he didn't call like he said he would. The owner, Zia, actually got angry that I asked about my car, stating that "Cars take time; it's not like making a hamburger"! When I tried to say that I was aware of this, he yelled, "Just come pick it up right now!" I have NEVER had an experience like this, especially when all the work hasn't been done on the car! I am just writing this review so that no one has to go through the strange and completely unprofessional experience that I had! I REPEAT, THE OWNER YELLED AT ME FOR ASKING ABOUT MY CAR!! I AM A LITTLE ASIAN GIRL WITH NO ATTITUDE WHATSOEVER!!

My experiences with Simon and Vtec has great. I highly recommend Vtec. The mechanic, I don't know his name, is top-notch. When I get my car repaired at Vtec, I know its done right. And prices are very respectable. Cheaper than other places I have experienced. But the best thing is, what you take in to get fixed, it gets fixed.
I was recomended to Simon by a friend. I got a quote from 1 mechanic that said I needed a new engine for my VW. Looking at a $2500 bill I was just gonna get rid of it, I thought I should get a 2nd opinion when I pulled up on the tow truck Simon came out and before you know he sent us to the dealer because my VW was on fatory recall because of the ignition coil. Didn't have to pay a dime. Simon absolutely knows what he's talking about and stays up to date with manufaturer specs. Since then I've been back for oils changes and tune up and still have my wallet !!!! I highly recommend Simon for all your mechanical needs.

I know Simon, and Amel, for 12 years now. Simon was my first meccanic since I moved in California , and still is. I started using his shop for general maintanence of my mine and my wife car, and because I felt confortable and sodisfy I become clients of his used cars as well. I bought a 2005 SW Volvo for my wife and later a 2001 528i BMW for myself. So far I had zero problems and I am 100% happy. I moved from campbell 3 years ago' and I leave In San Jose now, but I still drive all way there to see my friends at VTEC when mty cars need maintenance.
I consider myself lucky to know them.
If you want professional and friendly meccanics, in Campbell and close areas, I highly suggest to stop at VTEC and check them out,

I had my BMW, Toyota, Honda and Lexus serviced at Vtec Motor Sports. I have worked several years in the automotive business and I was pleased to finally have found a reputable, honest, high-quality shop with more than reasonable prices.
When you first walk into the shop office, you can see the various certificates that Simon has. The quality of work done on my vehicle was as good as, if not better than when I serviced it at the dealership. When I pick my car up from the shop, it feels brand new. I was surprised that one shop has the knowledge and skills to do such an excellent job on different types/brands of cars. Over the years, my cars have remained reliable and accurate to Simon's projections.
Quality is an important criteria when I was looking for a shop, but honesty and overall experience ranks as top priority. This is where Vtec Motor Sports shines. Mr. Simon makes the vehicle repair experience comfortable and easy. He gave me various repair options and explained how each one would affect my car in the long and short run. I never felt pressured to make any decision I didn't feel was right.
You can tell that Simon knows his stuff. His no nonsense approach, experience and trustworthiness is what brought my repeat business. I have referenced my family and friends to Vtec Motor Sports because of this confidence I have.

I was servicing my family cars for many years at Simon shop. Undoubtedly he is a very skilled auto mechanic, with excellent knowledge of domestic and foreign cars, with precise and quick diagnostic of problems, and with considerate respect for the customer cost of repairs. He would always advise us which is the best approach with respect to long run reliability and minimum cost. Definitely we saved thousands of dollars servicing 4 cars at his shop rather than going to the dealer. His labor rates are well below of the dealer ones. Never he would engage in unnecessary repairs. Always he was very courteous, and always he gave us a loaner for the duration the car was in his shop. I strongly recommend VTEC Motor Sports for cars diagnostic and servicing.

I decided to take my car in to a shop because of a loud sound in my engine so I came here since it was just down the street. This was possibly my best automobile decision I made, originally he priced me at 2500 which seemed a bit steep but that mindset went away as I started to see how much effort he puts into his work. He looked at my engine told me everything that was wrong with it. Had to go back another time for some complications that arrived after the fix. (due to a crappy mechanic with a previous owner of the vehicle) but now, car is running great with no engine problems. I would recommend this auto shop for anyone with a European car to anyone looking for a great mechanic to work on it.

I was in the market for a used Toyota 4Runner and in my search found one in Campbell CA in V Tec Motor Sports it was a 1998 pre runner I like the customer service and Simon the owner is a great guy and very straight forward.I bought the car and he promised me 2 free oil changes and he did honor his promise and I became his customer ever since.I would recommend this shop to friends and family.
